Oh yes, I remember him! The Canadian guy.
This is actually pretty close to what I imagined him looking like when I read this in school. :)

The weird thing about all the Verne books is that you can sometimes forget that all the characters are really speaking French all the time.

The original novel of Planet of the Apes was French!

Lol! well whenever Ned said something like "By a led pipe!" I was sort of startled into remembering that fact. ;p

However I didn't know that about Planet of the Apes! (to tell the truth I didn't know it was a book until now. Obviously I need to get out from under my rock from time to time. :XD:)

Spoiler Alert: Tim Burton actually got the end of his movie from the book.

I find the underside of rocks very comfortable places to read.

I saw the movie years and years ago. I can't remember if it was actually good or not, because I'm pretty sure I was still at the age where Lost in space was awesome. >__<;

For a Disney movie, it was good, and by my standard, the effects were all in camera and excellent.
By the book's standards, it was weak pudding though, and it will almost certainly be better than the version McG is slated to direct.

No. No sequential for this. It's for a concept illustration class. Don't expect to see Prof. Arronax or Conceil though. I'm only posting what I like.
