Enid Coleslaw, from Daniel Clowes’s classic novel, illustrated with the jumbo background name thingy patent pending Will Eisner.

Forgive me any small perspective errors; this was done entirely without rulers or straightedges.

I love monochrome pictures like this. One of my favourite colours, too! :D

Gee thanks. I was just following the original color scheme of the book, so thank Danny-boy Clowes.

Don't worry. He loves being called that.

Well, I can only assume that you replicated it nicely. Your work has always been quality stuff. :)

This is awesome and you need to do a comic in this style. Please tell me where to get it.

Given that you're asking me to direct you to a product that doesn't exist yet, I can only say to look for small, mysterious curio shops that sell monkey paws and possessed skulls. There will be a shelf in the back, next to the human fat candles and the dragon eggs. My book will be there, along with the Necronomicon and Watchmen 2.

Purchases come with a phoenix feather bookmark.

Then, as a proactive go-get-em American, I must ask -- what can I do to make this a reality? I am very impressed and need to see more.

I'll have to ponder that. I'm busy enough with a 9-5 and freelance as it is right now...
