To celebrate the 200th Birthdays of Abraham Lincoln and Charles Darwin, two men who were thinking much harder than practically everyone else who lived during their time.

I will do him on HIS 200th birthday.

It's also Michael McDonald's and Arsenio Hall's birthday, but I forget what they look like.

Yay! I was so happy yesterday, I was running around telling everyone at my school that it was international Darwin Day.

Great job, there's something wonderfully humorous about them.

According to recent data polling, 39% of people should have agreed and/or smiled, 28% of people should have told you you were going to hell for worshiping a false idol, and 33% of people should have looked at you blankly and/or shrugged.

These statistics are real, actual numbers signifying belief in Darwin's scientific theories.

Was it Darwin's 200th birthday as well? I had no idea.

Anyway, you just used my favorite color combination with the purple and teal. Is that ink or watercolor? At any rate, it looks nice. I like the different shades and values you were able to capture with the lights and darks. And these are great caricatures. Makes me wish you there were more forward thinking historical figures all in different colors. That could make for an interesting print.

I have Isaac Hayes in purple. That's in my gallery somewhere.

Watercolor. I did these two on a scrap while watching Rachel Maddow's segment on Darwin.
